content privacy

every image, video, blog and all individual profile information can be set independently to one of a variety of levels of privacy, including:

public: everyone online can view the file/text.

friends: only people who you are friends with on the network can view the file/text.

logged-in users: anyone who is logged in to the network can view the file/text.

private: only you can view the file/text.

groups: you can specificy that only members of an indvidual group can view the text/file.

* the overall site privacy default is 'public', which means that if you don't explicitly set a privacy level for a file or text you upload that it will be accessible by all, not just those who you see on this site. you can change the default privacy setting for all of your uploads and sharings on the site to be more private by clicking 'settings' at the top of the page and changing the default access level setting.

identity

our identity can change often on one level.. however, that doesn't mean we like to have other beings pretending they are us and using our details in a non integral way. you can upload to the site details such as your location, age, address, email, phone number and so on; if you do not wish them to be shared online then don't post them. the default privacy level will ensure that only those who login will see your details, however, if you want to maintain a higher level of privacy please set the privacy level for these details to be 'friends only' or 'private'.

security

digital security is not the security we need. if you explore digital security you will find that ultimately we cannot entirely protect digital information. however, simultaneous to that, desire exists for some security to enable the site to function and to allow individuals to do as they prefer. for this reason, you are advised to ensure your password for the community is not easy to guess or a commonly used phrase.

children

there is no age limit for access to this network. we are far more aware as children than we pretend when we 'grow up'. ;)

that said, the purpose of this site is to nurture healing and love, thus any evidence of attempts to exploit children in any way will be investigated and may result in the closure of your account and possibly more.

if you are uploading content which you believe/feel may not help impressionable beings then please set the privacy level to friends only and if you don't want your young friends to see the content then don't post it!

this site uses a method of internal tracking using piwik software. no data from this system will be used outside of this site and is used to improve visitor experience and site structure.
